Haye 11/8 to beat Ruiz by TKO

David Haye will make the first defence of his WBA heavyweight title against John Ruiz in Manchester on April 3 and Sky Bet make the Brit 1/5 for victory.

Former WBA and WBC champion Ruiz is 10/3 to overcome the Hayemaker, with a drawn fight a 33/1 chance.

David Haye’s odds of winning by technical knockout, the method by which he has won 21 of 23 fights are 11/8, while 5/1 is on offer for him to knock out Ruiz, known as the ‘Quietman’.

Sky Bet’s boxing betting expert Simon McMinn said: “David Haye will be going back to doing what he does best by throwing big punches at Ruiz. He had to box clever against Valuev but expect him to add to his impressive list of knockouts.”
