Daredevil gymnastics act all the rage after sparkling audition
Acrobatic gymnastics group Spelbound leapt to the head of the betting markets for Britain's Got Talent 2010 after a dazzling display on the second auditions show.
With an age range from 12 to 24, the daredevil antics of the boys and girls sent the crowd wild and clearly won over all three judges.
Simon Cowell looked on wide-eyed with amazement, while Amanda Holden gasped in awe before giving the performers a standing ovation.
"I can honestly say I've never seen anything like that in my life," admitted Cowell. "I thought, once again, we were going to get some really boring gymnastics display, but it was very clever - really, really smart."
"It was absolutely faultless," added Amanda. "Some of the stuff that was going on, I didn't think was humanly possible - outstanding and incredible."
Piers Morgan was equally impressed and said: "It got bigger and bigger as it went on, momentum built, the drama built, the story was great and in the end it reached this thrilling conclusion that had the whole theatre going crazy."
Spelbound are now a top-priced 5/1 with Stan James to go on and win the competition, while bet365 have cut the odds on a mixed gender act prevailing to 11/4.
