An All-English Champions League final is available at 3/1

Ladbrokes are currently offering odds of 3/1 that this year’s Champions League final will be an All-English affair.

Manchester United FC joined Arsenal FC in the last eight of the Champions League thanks to a 4-0 win over AC Milan to go through 7-2 on aggregate, just 24 hours after the Gunners eased past FC Porto 5-0 (6-2 aggregate).

Chelsea FC still have their second-leg clash with Inter Milan to play next week and are currently behind 2-1.

In other Champions League betting, Wayne Rooney, who scored twice at Old Trafford on Wednesday, is now 5/2 to be the tournament’s top scorer.

David Williams from Ladbrokes said: “A Rooney brace and a United win sealed a miserable night for the bookies. Even the correct score market went against us. Coming so soon after Arsenal's big win it's been a European week we'd rather forget."

Lyon are into 9/1 after knocking out Real Madrid CF who had been just 6/1 to lift the trophy.

Williams added: "With three of the top four in the betting now English clubs, only Barcelona seem to stand in the way of home success.”
