Following the draw for the 2012 European Championships, Sky Bet are offering 9/1 for England to go on and lift their first ever European title.
England, who are drawn along side Wales, Switzerland, Bulgaria and Montenegro in Group G, are 10/1 to win all their qualifying matches and 6/4 to be undefeated in qualifying. It’s 40/1 for the Three Lions to win both the 2010 World Cup and 2012 Euros.
Spain are the 9/2 favourites to successfully defend their title with Italy, who last tasted European glory in 1968 next best at 13/2.
Sky Bet’s football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: “After being handed a favourable draw for 2012 European Championship, I’m sure Capello will expect nothing less than qualification and probably a place in the final.”
