Rooney cut into 4/1 to surpass Ronaldo’s 42 goals

Following Wayne Rooney’s brace against AC Milan, to take his goal scoring tally to 30 goals in all competitions,Sky Bet have cut Rooney’s odds of beating Cristiano Ronaldo’s 2007/08 season total of 42 goals into 4/1 (from 8/1).

12/1 is on offer for Rooney to finish his remarkable season by making a clean sweep of awards, PFA Players’ Player of the Year, Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year, Fifa World Player of the Year and also being named the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
