Tiger Woods continues to hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons and money has been pouring in for him to miss the first of next year's majors.
Coral have cut the odds on golf's fallen idol sitting out the US Masters in April after being inundated with bets on that happening.
Tiger was quoted at 6/4 to sidestep the event after announcing he was taking a break from the sport, but that price was snapped up and the Barking firm now go 11/10 he is absent from Agusta and 4/6 he plays.
Woods has also been backed to quit golf completely before the end of 2010 and is now 16/1 from 20/1 to hang up his clubs altogether.
"Along with most golf fans, we expected a break of a few weeks," said Coral spokesman Gary Burton. "But with the shrewd money we saw today, it looks like his return could be months away, if at all."
However, Tiger is just 11/4 with Coral to win the US Masters and as short as 2/9 to gain the five more major wins he needs to break the Jack Nicklaus record of 18.
