Saints 9/1 to defend their Super Bowl title

Following the New Orleans Saints 31-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts to claim Super Bowl XLIV, Sky Bet are offering 9/1 for the Saints to successfully defend their title.

The Colts, who went into this year’s Super Bowl with high expectations, are 8/1 to go one better next year with the San Diego Chargers 10/1 and New England Patriots 12/1.

Wembley bound San Francisco 49ers are 40/1 to grab their first Super Bowl in 16 years and their opponents at Wembley, the Denver Broncos, who started this season strongly, but blew a 6-0 winning start to the season and missed the playoffs, are 50/1.

A team we are keen to oppose is the New England Patriots, whose years of dominating the league seem to be over.
