Shaun Murphy kick-started his Premier League campaign with a 5-1 thrashing of Marco Fu in Grimsby last week and is a hot favourite to follow that up with another win tonight.
Murphy had lost his opening two matches but breaks of 50, 62, 105, 134 and 62 saw him hit back after going behind early on against Fu.
"For once in the league I managed to produce a good performance," said Murphy. "The motivation for me before the match was seeing my name at the bottom of the table."
The reigning UK champion and 2005 world title winner is a top-priced 3/4 with William Hill to also see off Stephen Hendry in Preston this evening.
The Scot is coming off a 3-3 draw with tournament favourite and table topper Ronnie O'Sullivan last week but was far from happy with his form in that match.
"I thought I was just terrible," said Hendry. "Both of us missed balls and should've had centuries so probably it was a good game to watch but being 3-1 up I wanted to win."
Hendry can be backed at 4/1 with Boylesports, who offer 5/2 for another stalemate here.
In the night's other match, the unbeaten John Higgins is 7/5 with Boylesports to build on a win and two draws by beating Neil Robertson.
The Australian has a win, a draw and a defeat and is 21/10 at Coral, while Ladbrokes offer 9/4 they share the spoils.
Murphy is 2/1 favourite with Boylesports to make the highest overall break, with Higgins 5/2, Robertson 11/4 and Hendry 4/1.
The Irish firm go 5/6 there will be at least one stalemate and 10/11 both matches produce a winner.
