Marin Cilic made light work of Jan Hajek yesterday, winning 6-2, 6-2 without having to break a sweat, and the Croatian will be looking for another straight-forward win this afternoon when he face Daniel Koellerer.

Koellerer is ranked 75th in the World, and took three sets to beat Andre Golubev, who is 30 places below him. Marin Cilic, who is getting better with every game he plays, and is arguably the most exciting young player on the tour at the moment, is a totally different proposition.
The Croatian will have the crowd behind his every shot, and it could end up being a very short match, and whilst Bet365’s offer of 1/5 on Cilic winning in straight sets is a little slim, it could be worth a flutter on the total number of games in the match.

There were only fourteen games in Cilic’s last win, and today’s match may end up a similar way. Bet365 offer 5/6 that the match contains less than 18.5 games, which would allow for a Cilic win of 6-4, 6-2 or 6-3, 6-3, meaning a straight sets win, with more than one break of serve in one of the two sets.

Considering it would take the same sort of score-line for Cilic to beat the 5.5 game handicap, and that is priced at 8/13 with the firm, the under 18.5 game price looks like value.

Recommendation

Total Number of Games – Under 18.5 (5/6, Bet365)
